Born and raised in rural Indiana, filmmaking never entered Josh's mind as a young man growing up in the Midwest. That changed when he moved to Hawaii in his early 20's to live life in paradise. 

Intrigued by the number of weddings taking place, Josh dipped his toe into the waters of filming events for a living.

After nearly a decade of living on the island of Oahu, Josh yearned to tell other types of stories, so he moved to Southern California.

Upon his arrival, Josh was commissioned by companies such as Apple, Michelin, Salesforce, and more to create films for their esteemed brands.

​

His first short film, The Paniola, tells the story of ranching life in Hawaii centered around 84 year old Barbara Nobriga.
